Wrap It Up #3

Yesterday was . . . GUH . . .a day.  That's all I can say. It's all I want to say.  I did post yesterday's challenge today, so if you haven't seen it. . .do.

I want to catch up on my December Daily with Ali Edwards - and OH MY!, would you lookie who's there. ;D  As I think I mentioned, I am combining my December Daily with Journal Your Christmas with Shimelle (which I haven't yet jumped all over.)  Both projects are awesome ways of connecting to the season.  I love the prompts and photo suggestions provided by Shimelle, and the design and ideas from Ali.  This is my fourth or fifth year, so there's only so many photos I can take before they start to look pretty similar - but there's nothing wrong with that.  The journaling prompts not only have created some great stories (and pulled up some fond memories), but have made me look for different photos.  I'm excited to actually start. . .just need a day of either no kids. . .or just less crazy.

Today's Wrap It Up challenge/inspiration comes from Pinterest via Scrappin with DeeDee's blog; designer Jennifer Halleck had it pinned, and how cute?  How simple?  And who doesn't have buttons?  You may even have a miscellaneous stash of plain tags taking up space.  A little baker's twine adds color.  The sentiment is stamped, but you could totally write it yourself, run it through your printer or just leave it off and make a "To/From" tag.  Use rhinestones or pearls in place of the stamped snowflakes.  How cute would this embellishment be on your layout?

In whatever way you're inspired, be sure to link up your project by Sunday evening to be eligible for this week's giveaway - it's a My Mind's Eye kit, but the name escapes me at the moment.  Just play along, you won't be disappointed. :)

Happy Wednesday.

I had every intention of making a cute little button snowman, but decided to use the chipboard snowman instead. I used some baker's twine too!

Saving that little snowman for a future layout.
