4 Sketches, 20 Days #3

Well, it was a weekend.  Not a lot got done.  But hey, there wasn't soccer and the weather was G-O-R-geous!  We did put up some pickles.  We did enjoy the beautifully cool weather.  And we, well the boys, did and are playing a lot of Wii and xBox.

Today we enter the first full week of 4 Sketches, 20 Days.  This month-long challenge is all about getting sketches to do a chunk of your work for you - the layout, the placement - and you know what, there's nothing wrong with that!  Why mix by hand when you have a perfectly good electric mixer?  Sure it's fun to prove to yourself you can do it, but then you just end up with a sore arm.  Next time, just use the mixer.

This was last week's sketch - and I had to share how Sous Chef Jennifer interpreted this - a simple flip - when she used it on one of her September layouts.

See - Simple, Beautiful and best of all. . .Done.

Here we have today's sketch, well, actually this week's sketch.  Today, just use the sketch as it is.  Post your layout by Saturday evening to be eligible for the goodies.

Off to finish more laundry and maybe get the bathroom cleaned that I've put off all day - the holiday weekend has thrown a wrench into my cleaning schedule.  It's hard to talk yourself into work when nobody else is doing anything.

Happy Monday.
