March Madness - Day 4

First things first, if you haven't checked it out, March kits are previewing over on the website.  I have to say, even though I pick all the goodies for the kits, it's so piece-meal in the way it works, that sometimes I'm surprised at how well they come together when I finally see all the pieces together.  For March, I'm super excited by the colors - so Spring-y and . . . energizing.  The direct opposite of what I see out my window at the moment; the only color is the blue sky.  Seriously.  I should take a picture for Project Life, it's that bad.  If you're a member to autoship, you're all set - kits head out in about a week.  If you aren't and would like to become one before March kits head out the door, head over to the website to sign-up - there's no time commitment to meet, you save 10% over the cost of the regular price and you can skip, flip or substitute as necessary, no penalties!  You certainly have the option of picking up a kit, without having to be a member, on the 10th of the month.

Today's March Madness challenge is simple, a little recipe to create by:

  • 2 Sheets of cardstock
  • 1 Sheet of Plaid patterned paper
  • 1 Sheet of Floral patterned paper
  • 1 length of ribbon
  • A handful of buttons
  • Something Diecut - could be full-sized diecut paper, a diecut journaling card, a diecut chipboard or acrylic piece - whatever - even something you use a diecut system to cut yourself
Upload your link to your layout, card or other paper project to the comment section by the end of March to be eligible for the prize.  I'll work on getting a photo of the prize today, if not then this weekend.

We've got more snow in the forecast - enough that our first weekend of regular season soccer may be cancelled; the 12 y.o.'s games are already cancelled though more because the lack of snow has made the fields so fragile that a bunch of cleats on hard-pack dirt and straw-like grass will just destroy them for the remainder of the season.  Rec districts, in an effort to protect the fields, aren't opening them until later - some are so off limits if you're found on them you'll be fined.  Sweet Bummer, guess I'll have to figure out what to do with my possibly open weekend.  If the snow arrives that is.

Happy Thursday,
